As Time Goes By.
Horse racing once was a strong part of our collective consciousness. A sport rich in traditions which used to attract thousands of people.
On racing days, stadiums were packed and the excited audience cheered on their favourites.
But this is no longer the case. Other sports have conquered the media and with the growing opportunities within online gambling, horse racing is slowly forgotten and overlooked.
Empty facilities and a descending crowd characterises the stronghold of the sport at Charlottenlund Travbane and Klampenborg Galopbane.
The only people left back are the ones who's lives are inextricably linked with horseracing. Gamblers, jockeys, enthusiasts, horseowners, drivers and bookmakers.
In the Summer of 2009 we decided to portray these people and their surroundings.
